Commercial Tree Care Services

Trees are one of the most valuable assets of your property. Proper tree selection , development, and maintenance can increase that value. Our staff Certified Arborist and team of talented tree care professionals have extensive experience ensuring the health, beauty, function, and safety of landscape trees.

Since 1995, CG Landscape has managed trees on commercial properties across Southern California — office complexes, retail centers, business parks, apartment communities, and HOAs.

Commercial tree care services protect two things a property manager cares about: the value of a maturing landscape and the liability that comes with large trees over parking lots, walkways, and building entrances. Our crews handle both, on a schedule, with a certified arborist accountable for the work.

How We Can Help

Trees are the slowest-growing and most expensive part of a commercial landscape to replace, and the fastest to become a hazard when they’re neglected. We treat them as managed assets, not as one-off service calls.

Our tree team includes an ISA Certified Arborist, a Certified Ornamental Horticulture Technician, and ISA Certified Tree Workers, with close to 200 years of combined experience caring for trees.

That certification matters most to HOA boards and facilities directors, because a documented, arborist-led pruning program is part of how a property demonstrates it acted reasonably if a limb ever fails.

Working Process

We start commercial tree care the same way we start every contract: a site walk, an inventory, and a plan. An arborist counts and assesses the trees on the property, flags the ones that carry risk, and lays out a pruning and health-care cycle that fits the species and the site.

From there, each client gets an assigned account manager — one named contact accountable for the contract — so there’s never a question of who owns the work.

Completed pruning, removals, and risk findings are documented for the property file, and our 24-hour emergency response handles storm damage or a failed limb outside the regular cycle. For a portfolio spread across multiple sites, one plan and one account manager cover every location.

  • Site audit and tree inventory — every tree counted, assessed, and mapped
  • Proposal and multi-year plan — pruning cycles, health care, and risk mitigation scheduled by species and site
  • Scheduled service and reporting — crews work the plan; the account manager documents completed work

Commercial Tree Care Services We Provide

We carry the equipment, certifications, and crews to handle nearly any commercial tree operation across our six-county service area. Commercial tree trimming and pruning is the core of most contracts, but the full scope covers the life of the tree:

Frequently Asked Questions

Commercial tree care covers everything that keeps trees on a commercial property healthy, safe, and structurally sound — pruning and trimming, removals, stump grinding, root management, pest and disease treatment, and formal risk assessment. On a managed contract, an arborist sets a cycle for each tree rather than waiting for a problem to force a service call.

Yes. Our tree team is led by an ISA Certified Arborist and includes a Certified Ornamental Horticulture Technician and ISA Certified Tree Workers. For HOA boards, arborist-led documentation is part of managing tree liability, not an add-on.

We serve commercial properties in six Southern California counties: Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Ventura. For portfolio clients with sites in more than one county, one account manager coordinates tree care across all of them.

Yes. Many clients bundle tree care with commercial landscape maintenance and landscape management so one vendor — and one account manager — owns the whole property. You can also contract tree care on its own.

Request a site audit. A certified arborist walks the property, inventories the trees, and returns a proposal with a pruning and risk-mitigation plan. See examples of our work on the Projects Showcase.
